The Resurrection & The Life

"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies: and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:25-26

Martha, Mary and Lazarus knew that Jesus was able to heal the sick. Both women felt that Jesus was too late. Their brother had died..it was finished! But God was just beginning. For from this day forth Martha and Mary would know that not only could Jesus heal the sick but that he also could raise the dead!...

From the book On The Mountain Pg 16 & 17

The story of the resurrection of Lazarus always amazes me and gives me faith that anything can be resurrected from the dead if we will only believe. Faith is an incredible thing and the only two things that ever amazed Jesus was great faith and a lack of it. With faith we can move mountains. Following the verse quoted above we have the shortest verse in the entire bible "Jesus wept", I think Jesus wept because of their lack of faith.

Martha and Mary wept because they had waited for Jesus to come and heal Lazarus. They had seen him heal others and they knew he could do it. Unfortunately we are very often like Martha and Mary, we have "faith" in what we know can be done because we have seen it been done before. Why not exercise Great Faith. What about taking a leap and believing in the "impossible". Yes its a risk because you risk doubt, falling on your face and being the laughing stock. But you know what! With God all things are possible, with faith you cannot fail.

Take the risk and believe. Think of the wildest way in which God will take you out of the challenges you face today and begin to activate the Holy Spirit in your life.God may have a totally different idea about how to do it but your faith begins to break down strongholds and shift the status quo.

Martha, Mary and many others saw Lazarus walk out of that tomb. Martha had confessed that Jesus is the Christ and that confession of faith was enough to break down death.

When you see a deliverance like that it takes your faith to another level. Doubt however, is always around the corner waiting to pounce. Have a journal write done how God will take you out of your troubles that is the vision. write down the action steps you need to get there, that is planning. Then do it, that is execution. The bible tells us that without action faith is dead.

And when you experience Victory write it down so that you can remember and always activate your faith because those ugly spirits of doubt and fear are always lurking near by. Faith is a shield it is part of the armory of war and the only fight we are commanded to fight in the bible is the fight of faith.

Join me as we fight this fight of faith and watch your circumstances change.Defeat the Devil and Amaze the Son of God with great FAITH!
